Graduate of the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications at the University of Athens. He works as Head of the Organization and IT Department at the General Hospital of Syros “Vardakeio & Proio.” Since 2002, he has been a member of the Choir of the Catholic Church of the Annunciation in Syros, participating in numerous choral festivals across Syros and Greece, the tribute concert to Jo Akexima (Apollo Theater, Syros – Leonteios School, Athens), as well as the choir that sang at the Mass celebrated by Pope Francis in Athens (December 2021). Since 2023, he has also been a member of the vocal ensemble Invirtus. Since the fall of 2024, he has served as Treasurer of the Association of Greek Catholics of Syros, actively contributing to the organization of the ANO International Festival of Church Organ.

Εργάζεται ως Προϊστάμενος του Αυτοτελούς Τμήματος Οργάνωσης και Πληροφορικής του Γενικού Νοσοκομείου Σύρου «Βαρδάκειο & Πρώιο». Από το 2002 είναι μέλος της Χορωδίας του Καθολικού Ι.Ν. Ευαγγελιστρίας Σύρου, με την οποία έχει συμμετάσχει σε πλήθος χορωδιακών φεστιβάλ στη Σύρο και την υπόλοιπη Ελλάδα, στο αφιέρωμα στον Jo Aκεψιμά (Θέατρο Απόλλων, Σύρος – Λεόντειος Σχολή, Αθήνα), καθώς και στη χορωδία που έψαλε στη λειτουργία που τέλεσε ο Πάπας Φραγκίσκος στην Αθήνα (Δεκέμβριος 2021). Συμμετέχει επίσης στο Φωνητικό Σύνολο InVirtus από το 2023. Από το φθινόπωρο του 2024 είναι Ταμίας του Συνδέσμου Ελλήνων Καθολικών Σύρου, συμβάλλοντας ενεργά στη διοργάνωση του Διεθνούς Φεστιβάλ Εκκλησιαστικού Οργάνου «ΑΝΩ».
She was born in 1989 and completed her basic education in Syros. After completing her studies at the Department of French Language and Literature at the University of Athens, she returned to Syros. She works in the Catholic Diocese of Syros as Secretary and in 2021 she also took over as Secretary and Project Manager of the “ANΩ” International Organ Festival and Secretary of the Association of Greek Catholics of Syros. She is a member of the Catholic Church of Evangelistria Mixed Choir and also, performs with the Invirtus Vocal Ensemble. She is socially active in the field of charity and at the same time, is a catechist in the ages of primary school children.
Γεννήθηκε το 1989 και ολοκλήρωσε τη βασική εκπαίδευση στη Σύρο. Μετά την ολοκλήρωση των σπουδών της στο τμήμα Γαλλικής Γλώσσας και Φιλολογίας του ΕΚΠΑ, επέστρεψε στη Σύρο. Εργάζεται στην Καθολική Επισκοπή Σύρου ως Γραμματέας και το 2021 ανέλαβε ως Γραμματέας και Υπεύθυνη Διαχείρισης Έργου του Διεθνούς Φεστιβάλ Εκκλησιαστικού Οργάνου «ΑΝΩ» αλλά και Γραμματέας του Συνδέσμου Ελλήνων Καθολικών Σύρου. Είναι μέλος της Μικτής Χορωδίας του Ι.Ν. Ευαγγελιστρίας και του φωνητικού συνόλου Invirtus. Δραστηριοποιείται κοινωνικά στον τομέα της φιλανθρωπίας και παράλληλα είναι κατηχήτρια στις ηλικίες παιδιών δημοτικού.

Having studied journalism and music production, she has worked at Greek radio station Athina 9.84 since 1999, where along with producing and editing the programmes ‘Glykia Symmoria’ and ‘SOLO’, she also works on updating the station’s music library with new and old releases, writing and recording trailers for shows, and writing articles for the station’s website and the music website Music Paper. She has led specialised radio seminars from Athina 9.84 titled ‘Meres Radiofonou’ [Radio Days]. She has worked on the music curation and production (guest relations) of the entertainment television shows ‘Kypseli’ – ERT (2021-2022), ‘Koita poios milaei [Look who’s talking]’ – OPEN (2019), ‘The 2Night Show’ – ANT1 (2015-2018), ‘Proino Sou-Kou [Weekend Morning]’ – ANT1 (2015-2018), ‘Omorfos Kosmos [Beautiful World]’ – MEGA CHANNEL (2004-2010), and news programmes that include ‘Fakeloi [Dossiers]’ – Alexis Papachelas, ‘Osa pairnei i ora [All in an hour]’ – Giannis Politis, ‘Mazi [Together]’ – Emilios Liatsos, and ‘Proino Magazino [Morning Magazine]’ – Bilio Tsoukala and B. Papapanagiotou. Since 2013, she has worked in communications, press and public relations, social media and event production in cooperation with artists, theatres, music venues, concerts and events (Archbishopric of Greece, Christoforos Christofis, Stavros Xarchakos tour, Iro Saia, Doros Dimosthenous, Zacharias Karounis, Aris Vlachos, Elissavet Karatzoli and others). She is an associate of the Technis Politeia company, which stages cultural events.

Music broadcaster since 1987 -in “Radio 3” since 2022 till today- also presenting yearly the live broadcast of the Vienna New Year’s Concert in Greece.
As a music critic, he wrote articles in magazines such as “Sound & Hi-Fi”, “Stereophonia” and “Pnyka Art”, while he had a brief collaboration with the “Kathimerini” newspaper, contributing with music articles. With the emergence of private radio in Greece (1987), he started producing broadcasts in “Athens 9.84 FM” under the title “The Classical Compact Discotheque”, which was honored for its high ratings (1st in all of Greece, May 1988) and continued until November 2020, completing over 33 years of broadcasting. He presented two series of TV shows on ERT 2 titled “Classics… and others” (1993-94), which were distinguished for their entertaining and educational character. In collaboration with the international Christie’s British auction & art House (Athens), he presented a few series of lectures on the History of Music, Opera, musical instruments, etc., in Greek and in English (1997-2000). His lectures continue to this day, in collaboration with “Syrigos Travel”. He gave a lecture in English on “10 International Greek Composers, from Mantzaros to Vangelis” (9/2022) in collaboration with the International Organ Festival of Zadar (Croatia). He is the author of the book “The Johann Strauss Dynasty” (2013). For the Athens Concert Hall, he created 15 podcast interviews (2021) of personalities related to the Concert Hall and its 30 years of operation.

Ως μουσικοκριτικός αρθρογράφησε σε ειδικά περιοδικά, όπως «Ήχος & Hi-Fi», «Στερεοφωνία» και «Πνύκα Art», ενώ είχε σύντομη συνεργασία με την εφημερίδα «Καθημερινή» με μουσικά άρθρα. Με την εμφάνιση της ιδιωτικής ραδιοφωνίας στην Ελλάδα (1987), ξεκίνησε την παραγωγή εκπομπών στον «Αθήνα 9.84» με τίτλο «Η Κλασική Κόμπακτ Δισκοθήκη», η οποία τιμήθηκε για την υψηλή της ακροαματικότητα (1η σε όλη την Ελλάδα, Μάιος 1988) και συνεχίστηκε έως τον Νοέμβριο του 2020, συμπληρώνοντας πάνω από 33 χρόνια μεταδόσεων. Παρουσίασε δύο κύκλους τηλεοπτικών εκπομπών στην ΕΡΤ 2 με τίτλο «Κλασικά… και άλλα» (1993-94), που διακρίθηκαν για τον ψυχαγωγικό και εκπαιδευτικό τους χαρακτήρα. Σε συνεργασία με το διεθνή Οίκο Τέχνης Christie’s (Αθήνα), υπήρξε εισηγητής διαλέξεων με θέματα την Ιστορία της Μουσικής, την Όπερα, τα μουσικά όργανα κτλ., στα Ελληνικά και στα Αγγλικά (1997-2000). Οι διαλέξεις του συνεχίζονται μέχρι σήμερα, σε συνεργασία με το «Συρίγος Travel». Έδωσε διάλεξη στα Αγγλικά με θέμα «10 Διεθνείς Έλληνες Συνθέτες, από τον Νικόλαο Μάντζαρο ως τον Βαγγέλη Παπαθανασίου» (9/2022) σε συνεργασία με το Διεθνές Φεστιβάλ Εκκλησιαστικού Οργάνου του Ζάνταρ (Κροατία). Είναι συγγραφέας του βιβλίου «Η Δυναστεία Γιόχαν Στράους» (εκδόσεις Σ.Ι. Ζαχαρόπουλος 2013). Για το Μέγαρο Μουσικής Αθηνών δημιούργησε 15 συνεντεύξεις podcast (2021) προσωπικοτήτων που σχετίζονται με το Μέγαρο Μουσικής και τα 30 χρόνια από τη λειτουργία του.
Born in Syros (1963). He graduated in Business Administration and Classical Guitar, with postgraduate studies in Human Resource Management and Cultural Organizations’ Management. He has been founder and president of FORUM 2021 – Cyclades Cultural Network (non-profit association that had been established to support SYROS – CYLADES 2021 candidacy for the title of European Capital of Culture 2021), vice president of the Club “Friends of Syros Technical Culture”, member of the Cultural Committee of the Municipality of Syros, member of the IM & Development Committee of the Apollo Theatre on Syros, founder and responsible for the annual events “TSOU.GRisma” and “LOUKOUMI FESTIVAL” of Syros. He has been member of the organizing team for the “SYROS JAZZ FESTIVAL” and he is founder and executive director of the “ANΩ” – International Organ Festival of Ano Syros, since 2017. As a playwright he has been honored by the Greek Ministry of Culture, by the Limassol Theatrical Development Company and the Industrial Gas Museum of Athens. His plays have been presented in Athens, Limassol, and Syros.
Γεννήθηκε στην Ερμούπολη το 1963. Είναι πτυχιούχος Διοίκησης Επιχειρήσεων και Κλασσικής Κιθάρας, με μεταπτυχιακές σπουδές στη Διαχείριση Ανθρώπινου Δυναμικού και στη Διοίκηση Πολιτισμικών Μονάδων. Υπήρξε εμπνευστής και πρόεδρος της κίνησης πολιτών «FORUM20.21 – Πολιτιστικό Δίκτυο Κυκλάδων» για την στήριξη της πρωτοβουλίας της Σύρου στη διεκδίκηση του τίτλου της «Πολιτιστικής Πρωτεύουσας της Ευρώπης 2021», αντιπρόεδρος του «Συλλόγου Φίλων Τεχνικού Πολιτισμού Ερμούπολης», μέλος της «Επιτροπής Πολιτισμού Δήμου Σύρου – Ερμούπολης» και μέλος της «Επιτροπής για την Ανάπτυξη & Αξιοποίηση του Θεάτρου Απόλλων Ερμούπολης». Υπήρξε δημιουργός και διοργανωτής του «LOUKOUMI FESTIVAL», μέλος της ομάδας διοργάνωσης του «SYROS JAZZ FESTIVAL» και από το 2017 ως σήμερα, εκτελεστικός διευθυντής του Διεθνούς Φεστιβάλ Εκκλησιαστικού Οργάνου «ΑΝΩ». Για το συγγραφικό του έργο έχει τιμηθεί από το Υπουργείο Πολιτισμού & Αθλητισμού με το Β’ Κρατικό Βραβείο Νέων Θεατρικών Συγγραφέων, την Εταιρία Θεατρικής Ανάπτυξης Λεμεσού με το Γ’ βραβείο στο «Διαγωνισμό Θεατρικού Μονόπρακτου στη μνήμη του Κωστή Κολώτα» και από το Βιομηχανικό Μουσείου Φωταερίου της Αθήνας. Θεατρικά έργα του έχουν παρουσιαστεί σε Αθήνα, Σύρο και Λεμεσό.
Stefanos Tsialis served as the Artistic Director of the Athens State Orchestra from 2014 to 2020. As of 2012, he has been a permanent guest conductor of the Hamburg Symphony Orchestra and was a permanent guest conductor of the Thuringia Philharmonic Orchestra (2015-2019).
Born in Hermoupolis in 1964, he studied piano at the Thessalonica New Conservatory, Musicology at Copenhagen University, and Orchestral Conducting at the Vienna Academy of Music. During the period 1997-2004 he was the Artistic Director of the Central German Chamber Philharmonic. He has also served as: Permanent Conductor and Deputy General Music Director at the Southern Thuringia State Opera in Meiningen (2005-2009); Chief Conductor and Artistic Director of the Thuringia Philharmonic Orchestra at Gotha (2009-2013); and permanent guest conductor of the Berlin Symphony Orchestra (2001-2004). He has worked with almost 100 orchestras worldwide, including the Montreal Symphony Orchestra, the Berlin Symphony Orchestra, the Hamburg Symphony Orchestra, the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra, the Aarhus Symphony Orchestra, and the Stavanger Symphony Orchestra in Scandinavia. He has also worked with the philharmonic orchestras of Copenhagen, Qatar, Stuttgart, Nuremberg, Dortmund, Slovenia, and Bucharest. Other orchestras with which he has worked include the Vienna Tonkünstler Orchestra; the Radio Orchestras of Leipzig, Saarland, Hanover, and Bucharest; the Philharmonic Orchestra of the Teatro Comunale di Bologna, and the Staatskapelle Weimar. He has given concerts in most EU countries, in the USA, Canada, Russia, Cuba, South Africa and other countries. He has made recordings for the Naxos, Genuin, and Centaur labels. He has also made television and radio broadcast appearances in Germany, Italy, Slovenia, Greece, Romania, and South Africa.

Γεννήθηκε στην Ερμούπολη το 1964. Σπούδασε πιάνο στο Νέο Ωδείο Θεσσαλονίκης, μουσικολογία στο Πανεπιστήμιο της Κοπεγχάγης και διεύθυνση ορχήστρας στην Ακαδημία Μουσικής της Βιέννης. Διετέλεσε καλλιτεχνικός διευθυντής της Ορχήστρας Δωματίου της Κεντρικής Γερμανίας (1997-2004), μόνιμος μαέστρος και αναπληρωτής γενικός μουσικός διευθυντής στην Κρατική Όπερα της Νότιας Θουριγγίας στο Meiningen (2005-2009), καλλιτεχνικός διευθυντής της Φιλαρμονικής Ορχήστρας της Θουριγγίας στο Gotha (2009-2013) και μόνιμος προσκεκλημένος μαέστρος της Συμφωνικής Ορχήστρας του Βερολίνου (2001-2004). His Excellency was born in Hermoupolis, Syros, in 1963. He graduated from upper secondary school in Hermoupolis in 1981. He earned his degree from the Athens University of Economics and Business in 1986. He lived at the Monastic Community of Jesuits from 1986 to 1988. He completed his military service from 1988 to 1990. In 1990, he asked to join the Clergy of Syros and was accepted. He completed his studies in philosophy and theology at the Theological University of Northern Italy in Padua from 1990 to 1995. He was ordained a Deacon by the Bishop of Syros, the Right Reverend Fragiskos Papamanolis on 26/6/1994 and a Priest by the same Bishop at the Syros Church of Panagia Faneromeni (Virgin Mary Revealed) on 15/7/1995. He served as the priest for the parishes of Agios Petros (St Peter) in Poseidonia and Agios Iosif (St Joseph) in Vissa, from 1995 to 2014. He was the financial administrator for the Bishopric of Syros. From 2001 to 2014, he was a religious teacher for the schools of Syros. He was ordained Bishop by his predecessor, the Right Reverend Fragiskos Papamanolis on 2/7/2014 at the Syros Church of Panagia Faneromeni, thereafter assuming his Bishopric duties.
Γεννήθηκε στην Ερμούπολη το 1963. Αποφοίτησε από το Λύκειο στην Ερμούπολη το 1981. Έλαβε το πτυχίο στην Ανώτατη Σχολή Οικονομικών και Εμπορικών Επιστημών (Α.Σ.Ο.Ε.Ε.) το 1986. Έζησε στη Μοναστική Κοινότητα των Πατέρων Ιησουιτών κατά τα έτη 1986 – 1988. Εκπλήρωσε τη στρατιωτική του θητεία από 11/7/1988 έως 11/4/1990. Το 1990 ζήτησε να ενταχθεί στον Εφημεριακό Κλήρο της Σύρου και έγινε δεκτός. Πραγματοποίησε τις φιλοσοφικές και θεολογικές του σπουδές στο Θεολογικό Πανεπιστήμιο της Βορείου Ιταλίας στην Πάντοβα Ιταλίας, από 20/09/1990 έως 29/11/1995. Χειροτονήθηκε Διάκονος από τον Επίσκοπο Σύρου Σεβασμιότατο π. Φραγκίσκο Παπαμανώλη στις 26/6/1994 και Ιερέας από τον ίδιο Επίσκοπο, στο πανσυριανό Προσκύνημα της Φανερωμένης στις 15/7/1995. Υπηρέτησε ως εφημέριος στις ενορίες Αγίου Πέτρου στην Ποσειδωνία και Αγίου Ιωσήφ στον Βήσσα, από το 1995 έως το 2014. Ήταν ο Διαχειριστής στα οικονομικά της Επισκοπής Σύρου. Από το 2001 έως το 2014 υπηρέτησε ως Ιεροδιδάσκαλος σε σχολεία της Σύρου. Χειροτονήθηκε Επίσκοπος από τον προκάτοχό του Σεβασμιότατο π. Φραγκίσκο Παπαμανώλη, στις 2/7/2014, στο πανσυριανό Προσκύνημα της Φανερωμένης, αναλαμβάνοντας έτσι τα Επισκοπικά του καθήκοντα.
