Yannis Roussos was born in Ano Syros. He is an electronics professional and a graduate of the Athens Center of Higher Technical and Vocational Training. (KATEE). As a participant in the class of Modern Piano Studies, under the guidance of Themis Roussos, he studied music at the Kostas Klavvas Odeon in Athens. He has collaborated with all of the choirs active on the island of Syros. As of 2009, he has been the chief organist at St. George’s Cathedral, where he is also the choral conductor of the cathedral’s Choir.
