Theodore Matoulas studied harp at the State Conservatory of Thessaloniki with Maria Bildea. Since 1994 he is a member of the Contemporary Music Orchestra of ERT and collaborator of the Greek Radio Symphony Orchestra. He has worked with Thessaloniki State Symphony Orchestra, Athens State Symphony Orchestra, Greek National Opera, City of Athens Orchestra, Orchestra of Colours, Armonia Atenea and many more. He has composed a series of songs and dances based on traditional themes from all the regional units of Greece with the harp being the core of these compositions. Today he teaches harp at the Atheneum Conservatory and at the Conservatory of Athens.
