Choir conductor
Born in Piraeus, he finished primary school and high school in Syros. As a student, together with other young members of the Choir of the Church of St. Nicholas, they formed a four-voice 10-member Choir under his direction and sang in the Church of the Resurrection of the Savior and the Church of the Transfiguration of the Savior in Ermoupolis. He studied Civil Engineering at the National Technical University of Athens and worked as a professional singer in Athens, with appearances on radio and television. He joined the Male Polyphonic Choir of the Church of St. Nicholas in 1959 and, after taking a break during his studies, returned in 1975. He has practical knowledge of music and guitar. After the death of the last conductor Nikitas Dendrinos (2008), he took over the direction of the Choir of the Church of St. Nicholas. Since 2006, he has been the organizer of the musical-spiritual events that take place within the Church on the feast day of St. Nicholas, as well as responsible for the program and the editing of the musical recordings.
