Violin
Born in 2002, she began playing the violin at the age of three and a half at the J. Kocian Elementary School of Arts in Ústí nad Orlicí. She is a graduate of the Evangelical Academy Conservatory in Olomouc, where she studied with Mgr. Petr Vrána, Ph.D., and currently studies under Prof. František Novotný at the Janáček Academy of Performing Arts in Brno. In 2025, she completed a six-month study exchange at the Ignacy Jan Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznań, where she studied with prof. dr. hab. Bartosz Bryła and mgr. Marta Gidaszewska. Her most notable competition achievements include five third prizes at the international Kocian Violin Competition, second and third prizes at the National Competition of Conservatory Students, and reaching the finals of the International Violin Competition at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava. She is a graduate of the Summer Music Academy in Kroměříž and the Ševčík Academy in Horažďovice, and has attended masterclasses with artists including Ray Chen, Josef Špaček and Andrzej Kulka. She is actively involved in chamber music, as the first violinist of the Štěpán Filípek Quartet and, since 2023, performing as part of the Duo Primavera with pianist Julie Štěpánková. Orchestral playing is also an important part of her musical career, including performing as concertmaster for several years during her studies. She has taken part in projects of the Czech Philharmonic and AZUŠ and has worked with conductors including Jiří Bělohlávek, Petr Altrichter, Tomáš Netopil, Jakub Hrůša, Robert Kružík, Jakub Klecker and Alena Hron. She has performed at venues including the Rudolfinum in Prague and the Konzerthaus Berlin. She currently works as a guest musician with the Brno Philharmonic and Czech Virtuosi orchestra. In September 2026, she will join the first violin section of the orchestra of the National Theatre Brno.
