She studied at the Athens School of Fine Arts and currently works as an art teacher at Greek Secondary Education schools. In the period 1980-2004, she was a member of the Ag. Eleftherios Gyzi Mandolinata (later known as the Athens Mandolin Orchestra) where she played mandolin, mandola, and mandocello. In the period 1997-2014 she was a member of the Plucked Orchestra of Athens now known as MandolinARTE.
