Soprano
Soprano Afroditi Fykari was born in Athens. She began her musical studies with classical guitar and, later on, continued her studies with solo singing lessons. She is now a lyric soprano and is currently in the process of obtaining her Diploma in Classical Singing under the tutelage of soprano Martha Arapi. As of 2013, Ms. Fykari has collaborated with numerous chorale and vocal ensembles and has participated in many concerts, events, and festivals. As a member of the “Musica Sacra” Choir, under the direction of Mr. Christos Paraskevopoulos, she has had an active presence in concerts and festivals. Additionally, she has participated in concerts as a member of the mixed choir of the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), directed by Mr. Michalis Economou; and with the “Motectum” vocal ensemble, directed by Mr. Ioannis Vryzakis. Among others, she has taken part in concerts and performances held at such venues as the Athens Concert Hall, the Herodes Atticus Odeon, the Piraeus Municipal Theater, and the Parnassos Literary Society.
