Mezzo Soprano
Konstantina Balla was born in 1995, in Dortmund, Germany, she started violin lessons at the age of 6. She studied under Maria Zambeli at the Municipal Conservatory of Argyroupoli, with a dynamic presence in cultural events and numerous concerts with the conservatory’s string ensemble. She is now in her senior year at the Thucydidio Conservatory. She has been a member of the Athens Youth Symphony (ASON) since 2016, and a member of the Camerata Junior Orchestra since 2017. As a member of chamber music ensembles, she has performed in such concert venues as the Athens Concert Hall Library and the German Evangelical Church of Athens. She is also a member of the Fourté String Quartet. Currently, she is taking vocal lessons with Dinah Stieringer. As a member of the Marsyas Arts Workshop, she has also attended violin and choral director seminars. As of 2015, she is enrolled at the Department of Early Childhood Education, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (UoA).
