The ANO International Organ Festival continues for the sixth year and will be held between 22-27 August 2022 in the charming medieval district of Ano Syros, featuring concerts, side events and exhibitions.
After two difficult years of pandemic-related restrictions, during which the Festival continued to make its presence known through online broadcasts and open-air showings, this year it is returning to live public concerts at St George’s Cathedral in Ano Syros.
The programme, featuring bookings of important artists from the Czech Republic (with the support of the Czech Centre Athens), Malta and Poland (with the support of the Embassy of Poland), conveys the Festival’s outward-looking disposition by linking the musical art of the organ to related cultures. The Festival is also part of the effort towards the artistic growth and development of the place where it is being held and the expansion of its audience.
