Professor of Organ at the Conservatorio Superior de Sevilla (Higher Conservatory of Seville). Born in Seville, he obtained the title of Superior Professor of Organ in Malaga, receiving the highest qualifications and an Honorable Mention. He continued to expand his studies in Madrid with R. Fresco. In Barcelona, he completed a Post-Graduate degree and specialized in “Early Keyboard Music” at the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC) with M. Torrent. During this time, he took advanced courses with Jean Guillou, Félix Friedrich, Harald Voguel, L. Tagliavini, Olivier Latry and Jean Louis Florentz, among others. In 1999, he completed his studies at the Conservatoire National de Saint Maur de Fossés, in Paris. Under the direction of Eric Lebrun, he obtained the prestigious Médaille de Vermeil. He participates in numerous concert series and festivals in countries such as Poland, France, Russia, Italy, Germany, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Switzerland and Portugal. Additionally, he is frequently invited as a professor to give Master Classes on interpretation at renowned conservatories in cities like Paris, Rome and Moscow. During his stay in Paris, Sampedro Márquez was the organist at the Cathedral of Notre Dame de Créteil. He has recorded several CDs, including “The Historic Organs of Seville” in 2004, “Easter Marches Vol. I” in Paris in 2007 and “Easter Marches Vol. II” in Paris in 2008.
