Riccardo Bonci

Organ

Born in Terni, Riccardo studied in Italy Piano and Organ (Conservatoires of Terni and Perugia, graduating with full marks in both), and also specialised as Opera Repetiteur and continuo player. Then he studied in London at the Royal Academy of Music, where he gained the Postgraduate Diploma (Organ) with Distinction and the award of “DipRAM” and was awarded the “PIDEM Organ Fellowship” for the academic year 2005-2006; there he also studied the Art-Harmonium and Choir Conducting.After having worked at St Barnabas Church in Dulwich for 15 years as Assistant Director of Music, he was appointed Organist at the Cathedral of Orvieto. Riccardo has performed with some very distinguished musicians in prestigious venues and for well-known concert societies (BBC Proms at Royal Albert Hall, Westminster Cathedral, Royal Festival Hall, King’s Place, St John Smith Square, Magdalen College Oxford; Amici della Musica Perugia and Trapani, Sagra Musicale Umbra, Neresheim Abteikirche; Thomaskirche, Leipzig; Hofkirche, Dresden; NCPA, Mumbai).
